چکیده

Salicornia is a wild and annual (biennial, in some species) halophytic plant from Chenopodiaceae family that grows near salt marshes salted wetlands or the vicinity of coastal areas Asia, North America, Middle East. It also grown semi-arid Iran such as Isfahan, Fars, Yazd provinces. Genetic variability populations, structure were studied 10 geographical populations persica. diversity parameters determined these populations. 20 random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) primers produced 146 reproducible bands with average 14.6 per primer 88.67% polymorphism. OPA10 showed highest number effective allele (Ne), Shannon index (I) genetic (H). The values RAPD markers obtained Esfahan, Nain, it 70km to Varzaneh WARD trees data grouped two different clusters/groups, indicating their difference which discussed details. results this study level variation persica relatively low. WARD-based dendrogram close relationship between members river Zayanderud at while Yazd, Meybud Nádüshan protected population differ most other Principal component analysis, however, minor differences dendrograms.

Molecular Characterization of Iraqi Local Goat Breeds Using Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Markers

Cashmere is only produced from Maraz (Kurdi) goat breed in Iraqi Kurdistan Region. The objective of this study was to assess the genetic diversity of different Maraz color types, black goat and Shami breeds using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. Fourteen primers were used and nine out of them were selected based on their number of bands (NB) and polymorphic characteristics. Thes...

Characterization of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Burn Patients Using PCR- Restriction Frag-ment Length Polymorphism and Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Analysis

One of the major opportunistic pathogens in patients with burn injuries is Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which causes severe infections in burned patients. The objective of the study was to examine the molecular epidemiology of P. aeruginosa colonization in the burn unit of Shahid Motahari Hospital in Tehran, Iran. Restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) and random amplified polymorphic DNA (...

Genetic analysis with random amplified polymorphic DNA markers.

For many years, the principles of genetics have been applied to crop variety improvement with great success. Severa1 crop species, notably corn, wheat, and tomato, have been used as model genetic systems because of their central importance to food production. Until recently, virtually a11 progress in both breeding and model genetic systems has relied on a phenotypic assay of genotype. Because t...

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) fingerprinting of Mycoplasma gallisepticum isolates from chickens

Ten field isolates of Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) from different geographical areas of Iran were analyzed by random amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD). RAPD analysis produced reproducible banding patterns on the basis of which various distinct amplification patterns could be detected. MG isolates compared with reference strains (S6 and Mg SS) and vaccine strain (ts-11) and demonstrated...

Genetic diversity among Elaeagnus angustifolia L. populations based on some morphological traits and Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Markers

Elaeagnus angustifolia L. is a Eurasian tree that has become naturalized and has various ecological, medicinal and economical uses. In this study, a combination of morphological traits and RAPD markers were used to study the presence or absence of an association between genetic variation and morphological features among five populations of E. angustifolia collected from the East Azarbaijan of I...
